Singaraja Montessori School

Montessori children learn from one another as much as from adults, and collaborate rather than compete for honors and grades. It is this very philosophy that inspired us at SMS to open a Montessori school to provide children with an environment that is safe, interesting and conducive to learning. Children learn best by doing, so while manipulating materials children are learning and not only playing as perceived by most adults.

We at SMS aim to make learning fun for children while allowing them to explore without limitations. The main goal of the Singaraja Montessori School is to provide a stimulating, child oriented environment that children can explore and touch, and learn in without fear.

An understanding parent or teacher is a large part of this child's world.

The end result is to encourage life-long learning, the joy of learning, and happiness about one's path and purpose in life. Besides learning in the class room using the Montessori materials, extracurricular activities are: Traditional and Modern Dance, Music, Speech and Drama classes. Sports and swimming lessons are given on Fridays.

Our History

Singaraja Montessori School is under the auspices of the Bali Mandiri School Education Foundation (Yayasan Pendidikan Sekolah Bali Mandiri). Bali Mandiri School Education Foundation" wants to contribute to "Improving the Quality of Education in Buleleng Regency" by establishing "Singaraja Montessori School" which is An International School with the Montessori method and a Bilingual system (Indonesian and English) which will make learning fun and is an "Eco-Friendly" school to help reduce waste in Buleleng Regency. For underprivileged children, schools also provide a "subsidy" system for school financing.

"Singaraja Montessori School" was born because this school uses the Montessori learning method in collaboration with the National curriculum and was established in the Singaraja area. We will contribute to improving the quality of education in Buleleng Regency

starting from the basic foundation,namely at the PAUD and Elementary School levels. Our school is supported by a variety of educational tools, highly experienced principals who have official certificates in the field of Montessori, and teachers who are university graduates. We also provide a comfortable, safe, fun, conducive and environmentally friendly international learning environment.
